Klipp-VanArsdale Wedding 8/08

Jonathan and Kirsten were the funnest couple!!! They were a blast to work with! The ceremony location was at Jonathan's Aunt & Uncle's Estate in the foothills between Divide and Cripple Creek. Though parking posed a bit of a conundrum, precise planning proved to be the solution. There was room for everyone :) My favorite part of this ceremony when Jonathan (who has an amazing voice) sang to his bride. There was not a dry eye in the crowd! The reception was at Carr Manor in Cripple Creek. Although a bit toasty on an August afternoon, Carr Manor proved to be quite a classy venue. It was an old school house that had been renovated into a bed and breakfast. The best part was that they left the chalk boards in each of the rooms where notes have been collected over the years. So charming! I'd love to work with Jonathan and Kirsten again someday. Hmm . . . maybe a baby shower ;)

    • The Dewitt 50th Birthday Party

Rebecca and her husband Jeff were such a great couple to work with! Their property in Black Forest provided a perfect backdrop for this event. The many large pine trees offered the perfect shade on a warm July afternoon, and also filtered the sunlight to give the appearance of a bunch of little spotlights on each table. Ceating decor as unique and fun-loving as the birthday girl really challenged my creative thinking skills. What could I do for this special lady that no one had ever seen before? Hmmm . . . she's an outdoor lover, and a theme of the picnic/barbeque and pig-roast. With a unique love of gardening and penguins. Bingo: adorable stuffed penguins dressed like little farmer :) The highlight of the party, (besides the Margarita Machine LOL) was the Professional Caricature Artist. Everyone loved their pictures, and he was so outgoing and friendly everyone wanted to hang out with him :) Special Thaks to the Following Vendors: Front Range Barbeque,http://www.frbbq.com/ Creative Cakes,http://www.creativecakesbycarol.net/ Beautiful Expressions Floral Design http://www.yourbeautifulexpressions.com/ Richard the Caricature Guy http://www.the-nose.com/

    Kennedy USAFA Graduation Party 5/08

    • The Kennedy Air Force Graduation Party : The Kennedy family was SOOO much fun to work with. At first, Navajo Hogans didn't seem like a very typical venue for an Air Force Grad Party, but I have to tell you, it was perfect! The food was wonderful, the outdoor patio was such a great space, and the staff worked incredibly hard to make the event memorable and amazing! I love it when I get to work with great people who not only know what they're doing, but LOVE what they do :) It makes my job that much more enjoyable! One Great 2008!

2008 was an amazing year full of exciting events and beautiful weddings. We met amazing people, and worked with wonderful vendors. I wish I had room to write about every single wedding and event that we had the privelge of designing last year, but I'd be writing for a very long time and wouldn't get any work done on 2009's events ;)

Here are a few of our most memorable events from 2008:
